VIC 3442
Woodend is a small town in Victoria, Australia. The town is in the Shire of Macedon Ranges local government area. It is bypassed to the east and north by the Calder Freeway and is located about halfway between Melbourne and Bendigo.
Step into another world at Woodend, a nineteenth century resort town and home base for the mysterious Hanging Rock. Stroll past historical buildings and the old clock tower on Main Street and then cruise around local boutiques for antiques and gifts to take home. Continue exploring on two wheels by hitting the Three Town Scenic Route.
The trail kicks off at Woodend Train Station and takes in Woodend, Trentham, Kyneton. Pedal your way from town to town along country lanes and leafy back roads. Recharge after your long day on the trail with an afternoon high tea at Campaspe House or a refreshing ale at the pub.
