Pascoe Vale lies in the western part of the City of Moreland, 11km northwest of central Melbourne, with a population of 14,000.
Pastoral land holdings were the earliest settlements in the area, and much of the land in Pascoe Vale was part of John Pascoe Fawkner’s original estate, Pascoeville. Urban development followed in the late 1800s and early 1900s and today’s result is a mixture of housing types from different eras.
Pascoe Vale offers easy access to the Westbreen and Moonee Ponds Creeks and numerous reserves. Schools, shops, public transport, doctors, sporting facilities and playground are all within walking distance and freeway access is close at hand.
The Pascoe Vale railway station on the Craigieburn line provides direct access to the city and several bus lines operate through the suburb.
