2018 Figures Reveal Price Growth in Melbourne’s North West

Despite recent negative media commentary, December 2018 data released by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) reveals good stability in our local real estate markets across Melbourne’s North West.

The REIV reported Melbourne’s median house price increased 1.4 per cent to $826,500 (from $815,000) and the unit price increased 1.8 per cent to $597,000 (from $586,500) in the 2018 calendar year.

Figures recorded by the REIV are based on actual sales transacted throughout 2018 and not predictive valuations of Melbourne’s dwellings.
